I've just finished Precept upon Precept Daniel Part Two, Lesson Seven, and it had a great list of verses related to praying for the unsaved. I am really convicted and motivated by these verses and would like to share them with you. Here' some simple prayers we can pray for our unsaved family members and friends. God is listening, so let's pray together. God, please:
Bless kings and those in high positions that we all may be able to lead peaceful, quiet, godly, and dignified lives (1 Timothy 2:2).
Empower the bold proclamation of the gospel (Ephesians 6:19).
Open the eyes of the unsaved, that they may:
Turn from darkness to light.
Turn from Satan's power to God.
Receive forgiveness of sins.
Receive a place among those who are sanctified by faith (Acts 26:18).
Unblind the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Cause to be seen the light of the gospel of the glory of Messiah (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Make it so that grace extends to more and more people (2 Corinthians 4:15).
Deliver unbelievers from the domain of darkness to the kingdom of your beloved Son (Colossians 1:13).
Father, we want to see more people saved through the gospel. Help us to intercede in prayer for the lost. Thank you that the gospel is available to all people. Thank you for the difference you have made and will make in many lives. Increase our faith in what you want to do around us.
